LAWRENCE GOODMAN

Lawrence edits and writes about the sciences for Brandeis. He thinks scientific research can be fascinating, provocative, readable and fun for a broad audience. Over the years he has worked as a reporter or freelance writer at a variety of publications: SELF, Philadelphia Magazine, the New York Daily News, the New York Post, Salon, the Boston Globe, Glamour and Ladies' Home Journal. Before coming to Brandeis, he worked for Brown University's alumni magazine as a senior editor. In his spare time, Lawrence is an award-winning playwright. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in English.
